I got a New Year's greeting from a fellow whose name I didn't recognize. Turns out Dennis Henderson recorded a concert I did back in June of 2015 at the Genesis Theatre in Ladner. Dennis attached a couple of songs from that concert and they sounded so good, I had to post them on my Bandcamp page.

This particular configuration of the band, with Beaver Thomas on lead guitar, had been together since the fall of 2014. By the time of the Genesis show we had been performing many gigs around town including steady Wednesdays at a pizza place on Commercial Drive called Caffe Roma where we had built up a small but steady following over the months we had played there.

By the time we played at Genesis we were a pretty tight unit as these recordings show. Joining us onstage for these tunes was Steve Campbell on harmonica.

All the best for 2023, and I hope you enjoy these two originals.
