Marq DeSouza
Lead guitar on “Just Another Guy”

Marq had an unusual childhood. For over a dozen years he lived with his family at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto. That’s because his dad, Tanzania-born George DeSouza, had a steady gig playing guitar and singing in the lounge at the hotel for many years with accommodation provided as part of the deal.

In the 90s and early 2000s, Marq was the frontman for various projects, with appearances on Much Music, on radio charts, and at festivals across Canada.
Marq is a prolific singer/songwriter and in recent years has joined John on various stages, playing bass, guitar, drums and vocals.
