Eric McFadden on Mandolin


Playing guitar, Eric has toured with funk legend George Clinton (of P-Funk fame) and The Animals’ Eric Burdon among others. Guitar Player magazine says: “If San Francisco is home to anyone approaching the abilities of a modern Jimi Hendrix, it’s Eric McFadden.”
John met Eric at an invite-only songwriters’ camp hosted by Pat MacDonald of Timbuk3. For his contribution to “Hermosa Star”, Eric puts aside his Telecaster and adds sweet mandolin on this song that was written at that very same songwriters’ camp.
