lyrics

Devil’s On His Way

The devil’s on his way
He’s just a speck on the horizon
He’s getting bigger every day
He says “You didn’t even try, son”
And now you have to pay
The devil’s on his way

You might try to hide
Or maybe get a gun
Ain’t nothing you can say
He’s got you on the run
He knows every time you lied
He’s seen everything you done

The devil’s on his way...

Your life’s going down the drain
Your world is on fire
I tried to set you straight
But I was preaching to the choir
There’s no one left to blame
He’s gonna be the driver

The devil’s on his way
He’s just a speck on the horizon
He’s getting bigger every day
He says “You didn’t even try, son”
Ain’t nothing you can say
The devil’s on his way

The devil’s on his way
The devil’s on his way
The devil’s on his way
The devil’s on his way

Brice Tabish. Mandolin on “Devil’s On His Way"

As well as handling all production duties on “Hermosa Star Family Album”, Brice plays several instruments on various tracks including: banjo, dobro guitar, mandolin and more. Outside the studio, he fronts “The Brice Tabish Band”. As well, Brice is the on-call guitarist for 80s Canadian rock icon Lee Aaron. He plays (and sings) around Vancouver (and beyond) with the long-running cover band, Las Divas.

Brice has worked with Rolling Stones producer, Andrew Loog Oldham on various studio projects over the past decade or so including cataloging long-lost performances by Jimmy Page and Eric Clapton. He played bass and guitar on “The Andrew Oldham Orchestra and Friends Play The Rolling Stones Songbook Vol. 2 (2013).

about

John Pippus Vancouver

"Reminiscent and harkening in spirit, in some ways, to Neil Young’s classic “Harvest,” Pippus and friends have made something much richer in tone and certainly more fitting for 2022.”
